David Wadelton

David Wadelton gives a new spin to the term surrealism. Wadelton uses comics, advertising graphics, still life and just about anything that comes to hand, throwing it into a blender and leaving the top open to spray incongruous contrasts and juxtapositions. His works in our collection utilise computer-based montage, these images take on a manga-like gloss in this new form of cyber-surrealism/popist-postmodernism.
